We are going to Sri Lanka

My wife, 7 year old and I are going to Sri Lanka.  For $315 each after miles($945), we are going to Sri Lanka with a 4 day layover in Cairo.  In the process we will be circling the globe.  Flying in from Europe and the Middle East and leaving via Asia.

The total cost of the exact flights we are flying = $3300 per person.  Lowest price available via orbitz = $1980 person.  Total savings $1665 per person or about $5000.

Most of the miles for this trip were accumulated via credit card rewards.

That is awesome!Had some friends who just went to Cairo great pictures...I wish I could get on board with the airline miles but having no credit means I have bad credit...sounds like an around the world adventure. Congrats and take a lot of pictures!

Sri Lanka is beautiful! Awesome beaches with not many people. You can take a river boat into the island and see elephants!
