Pretty proud, 51.5 years old, high school grad. Never ever thought this would be possible. Had to take a screen shot and share

Congrats.  I am in near the same boat:  High-school grad, got hired into a great company at 21, next week is my 23rd anniversary here.  I am now 44, and sitting at about $650k.....I hope to see that 7th digit at 50 or 51.  So your screenshot is a great inspiration to me!

Yes, needed the screenshot. Saved to my photos to look back on someday. Seems more real to earmark the occasion

Congrats! This reminds me of the saying: the first million is the hardest to make. I always thought that was just tongue in cheek, but now I realize it's totally true. It took our family 34 years to get the first one and now two and a half years later we've got a second. Granted, real estate and stock indexes have been very strong over that period, but after amassing a million dollars of nest egg, it starts generating more money passively than most people can earn actively. If you don't somehow abandon all your mustachian ways tomorrow, that second million will come a whole hell of a lot faster than 51 more years!

Update??  How about now with that dip the past few days??  Did that 7-digit and that comma disappear??  I know I've taken about a $35k-$40k hit......
