Sold our second car!

Don't know why it took so long, but the "extra car" that we picked up last year for family to use, we've finally sold for cash this evening. 
It was quite an older car, but very good quality - so it's sad to see it go.

It was a major gas guzzler though!  So glad we can now cancel that extra car insurance and not worry about the licencing costs etc.

+1 for selling through trading sites, rather than to money-grabbing 2nd hand dealerships!

Sold it through New Zealand's local auction/trading website - TradeMe :)

In addition to that, I've cancelled our bin service - worked out it's much cheaper for us to use a bag every fortnight than to use a bin.  It was a quarter empty every week, and a complete waste of good money.

Aaaand getting ready to cancel my phone contract as soon as it completes in a month or two time. 
That will be $935 - ($120 [basic phone] + $60 [bags]) = $755 a year saved!
