Sold on Craigslist for the first time!

I sold an internal frame backpack for $40.  It was originally $65.  Now I have more space AND more money!

I was amazed that it only took an hour to get a buyer, who came out to get it right away.

congrats. keep in mind that CL sales won't always go that smoothly, but it is still a great way to sell things.

Great job! I've sold tens of thousands of dollars worth of stuff on Craigslist with nary a problem. The only annoyance I've had is a couple people who said they were coming and didn't show up. Other than that, no complaints.

Yeah, the second item I sold--a propane heater--2 buyers offered full price, then backed out.  It happens, I guess.

My Wife is always amazed at what I sell.

I had a POS lawn tractor.. I had patched it up so many times over its 12 year hard life.. eventually bought a new one.. Wifey was wanting me to load the old one on the truck and take it to the dump.... I put it on CL for $200.

Next day I got 200 bucks and didn't pay to dump it..:)

I've sold lots of stuff on Craigslist without issue.
Like mentioned before, some people are just flakes.

I hate taking the time to list everything but it sure feels good to get rid of the stuff and accept cash for it!
