Thanks to the one user who shared her tip about "shopping" (grabbing items in a store but ultimately leaving without trying them on or buying them), and the user (Nikki!) who did not buy herself a wedding gown, I probably saved myself about $800 worth of regret.

Baby steps people, baby steps! Woot :) Anyways thanks for sharing all of your stories and ideas, it helps a ton!

A final shout out to my SO, who isn't on here but deserves some credit because he helps me stay "on the path" even though he was once one of those partners that just hadn't seen the light yet. AWESOME.

Something about "look after the pennies and the Pounds will take care of themselves"  (British money is is pounds and pennies).
