My old phone died and I picked up a new one (spendypants sucka-consumer, but that's not the point, lol) at a T-Mobile store. The employee there opened the box and destroyed the huge sticker on the back of the box in the process...since I resell my phones after a year or two, the "new condition" look is important to me. I explained this and told them I wanted a new box. They wouldn't do that, but we settled on a $35 statement credit - simply because they did a shitty job opening the box. It might have dropped a couple bucks off of my resale value, but not $35 worth! :)
