Polishing Concrete Floors
« on: November 30, 2016, 11:56:41 PM »
Have approx 150 sqm of concrete to polish. Admittedly polishing to 3000# so no need to apply a sealer. Got a quote - $12,000!! To hire the commercial machine was going to between $6-6500 plus a possible charge for excessive diamond wear. So imported a commercial planetary grinder with all the metal bond and resin pads from 20# to 3000# for a bit over $4500 from China. Damn good machine too. Now it is taking me some time but it is certainly looking fairly professional - more the machine than my skills. Thinking of either hiring it out or selling it for ??$3500 after the job is done. Will be way ahead.

Wow!  Very impressive!!  That's a terrific idea.  Is the machine hard to learn to use?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
