Hi.. I'm a Norwegian mustacher.. 23 years old, single, living in a city. Some money in the bank, had a job over the last couple of years working basically 70-80 hrs a week as much as I could, before starting on a bachelor degree in economics. Wanted to build some equity before starting school so I could live off on the income from working part time together with a little savings while in university and use my student loan with currently 0% interest (until I finish my bachelor, then the interest on the loan starts running) to build some interest off together with my savings keeping it in the bank (I refuse to put borrowed money at higher risk.. :)) at 3.95% interest.. Who doesn't like free money right..!

Walking or a combination of walking/city cable car brings me to school in about 15-20 minutes. Which is fine but time is money. Driving a car to work in no traffic is about 7 minutes, with traffic it's easily twenty or more. Add gas and add the city toll road at $5 each passing.. Keep in mind gas prices here are nearly $10/gal on bad days...

With this one I'm using between 2.5 and 5 minutes depending on traffic and how much of a death wish I got that day to uni.. I'll usually fill it up for about $10 and ride between one and two weeks on it doing all my errands and commuting. I spent about $330 (which is dirt cheap here) purchasing it off a buddy of mine two years ago. I only parked it in January because we had snow.. We had some snow and slush in February and March but I drove it none the less. Annual road tax and insurance is about $150. Since you are toll road exempt on two-wheelers, if I work every day a month and take my scooter to work instead of driving the car, I save $150 that month. Pretty badass IMO..

Here it is in all its pride and glory, doing a service on it. Or oiling up the lines actually, as there's no need to replace what oil can do for ya lol.

Anyway nice to be a part of the forums.. I've read a whole lot on the blog over the past few days and come to the conclusion I'd probably belong and fit in here haha. Looking forward to it.
