Not a DIY kind of guy but very cheap and love learning stuff off YouTube.
Tree next to my house roots grew roots 2 foot up the inside of the stucco, cracking it off. Borrowed a chainsaw. Cut the tree down with my 6yr old sons help. Roots were wrapped around 2 sprinkler lines. Shit...big mess. Also broke 2 shovels in the process. Borrowed another shovel to finish. Repaired the lines, mixed and applied new stucco to repair, and will paint next week. Out $150 for a project that could have cost over 1k if I had pro’s come do it.
10hrs labor but some good bonding time with my boys and some pride in DIY work!

Good for you!
I never knew stucco could be "easily" repaired like that. (I've never lived an a stucco area, so I never gave it much thought.)

Great! Next time, invest in a heavy digging bar. You won’t break it and the job will go much faster. I love mine.
