Only Military is eligible for this deal, but can be Active-Duty, Guard, Reserve, Retired Mil, or Civilian working for DoD.
The Armed Forces Vacations Club is having their annual Buy One Week Get One Week Free Sale (https://www.afvclub.com/search-resorts/results/sale/mar-bogo-sale-2017) till March 16th. One week of Vacation is typically $369 across the country and some places internationally.
I used this last year! Got a 3bdrm in NH, and 2bdrm in the poconos. Both with full kitchens so we could cook our own meals.
Two full weeks for just $369, that $25/night! Plus I got a $100 Visa Gift card for sitting in on an optional Time-Share speel. So really $19/night.
Here's a vid of the place we stayed in NH https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfcVw3Aqgk0 (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YfcVw3Aqgk0)

So for one of the weeks[Poconos] I chose to stay close to home, so that I could actually do a working vacation and wouldn't have to take time off. 45 minutes away. The place we got slept 8 people so I invited my Parents and my Wifes Parents(Retired) to come stay as well; and my Wife who is a stay at home mom could enjoy it while I was working. And I during the evenings.

Some things to keep in mind
- These vacations are usually only available during off-peak seasons.
- Sometimes it may be worth it to just book the entire week and only stay a couple days.
- They say you have to show a CAC card, but I've never been asked for one.
- Only the Vacations marked "Redeem" can be used for the get one free part.
-
Thanks for posting this. Passed it on to my brother who is in the air force.

Thanks (too)
I'm not able to take two weeks vacation (yet...), but I didn't even know about Armed Forces Vacations Club - I'm retired Air Force.
-
Heads up that it has to be used before July for the BOGO portion.

We've tried to use AFVC so many times. Proved next to impossible as AD because of leave constraints. Nice to know it's possible, though :P Something to look forward to when he finally retires!
