They'll last forever.  There are studies that have found that the chance of lasting is inversely proportional to the amount spent on the wedding.  I know it's not really data, but my sister in law was pretty much an entitled gen X'er and "forced" her parents to put on a lavish, expensive wedding.  It was over in a month and divorced in 6 months.

Also @Car Jack if you extrapolate that all the way, the marriages that last longest at the ones where you never get married at all :p
