Thanks guys, am very excited! Now to buckle down, pay off the house and stash cash into investments, and then freedom!

Nice! We're in for the long haul on DW's grad school loans. We were able to consolidate about 2/3 of them right after graduation into a 1.625% fixed rate, with a payoff around 25 years, and haven't paid an extra dime. The other 1/3 (variable interest rate, starting off at a very high rate) we did accelerate and paid off in about 3 years.
As for the house...meh. If I get my way, we won't actually pay it off until we sell to move to a lower COLA at FIRE, at which point I hope to use the equity to purchase our new house outright. TBD if that's doable; accelerating payments somewhat but putting the bulk of our excess savings toward investments to ensure that we'll have the 5-year Roth IRA bridge sufficiently funded.

Way to go, 11ducks! I paid off my student loans almost a year ago, at age 47. It was a huge weight off my shoulders. Enjoy the feeling (and the extra stache)!

Well done. Congratulations. I bet it feels amazing!

Congrats!!! Now tell the non-MMM world too. They could use the encouragement and living example that it can indeed be done in a reasonable period of time.
