I just paid off a $165,000 loan!!!!!

Shared a bit about this on the Welcome and General Discussion thread, but a few folks there told me I should share here...and who am I to disagree?

I just finished paying off a $165,000 loan for grad school!!! Took me about three and a half years, but it's gone!!! Pabst Blue Ribbon's on me tonight. I want to run around the block screaming this but my neighbors already think we're crazy so I'm not sure that would help the general impression.

No, I haven't. Nothing too crazy, just living far below my means while making a good salary. Old fashioned frugality. I even cash-flowed about $18,000 in repairs to my house in the same time, so I think I could've done it sooner had I just kept renting.
