Inspired by MMM's compressor fix
« on: February 25, 2013, 08:40:26 AM »
This is my first post, but thought I'd share a fix I did this weekend. The wife's Chi flat iron stopped working. Took it apart and found a bad thermal fuse. One un-mustachian drive to the electronics store that had thermal fuses. $1.29 later, I had fixed the Chi flat iron. Otherwise it's $70-100 for a new one. I might be biased, but I'd say that's pretty badass. Now to get on the task of biking to work!

That's the culprit in front of the flat iron.

That's awesome! I bet your wife is happy to have the CHI back too!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
