Hit a bench mark!!

After 2 years of full time work post 5 years of tertiary study, I've got a nice wee stash of 20k!!

Reading the MMM blog has definitely played a big part in spurring me on.

If you include debt pay down in your savings rate, I bet this is not the case. MashedBanana very likely spent the first 2 years after studying to pay down debts considerably, and now, is debt free (likely) and stashing like a fiend!

Yea I paid off a lot of debt in the first couple of years. I still can't figure out how exactly I managed just about 10k in three months, but it has a lot to do with getting more serious about saving and my country's retirement savings scheme which is a managed fund, I've got it on the highest risk option.
