Holy crap, my friends! My net worth just hit a million! It's been 7 years since I found this blog and cleaned up my financial situation. It's pretty cool to see a goal finally reach fruition :D

Congratulations! We finally hit what I call level 1 millionaire last year (combined net worth in USD including primary residence). Level 2, the same in Euros, might happen this year or next year. But we are still a few years away from hitting that number without considering our property, if ever, as we wouldn‘t need that much to retire according to the the 4% rule.

Awesome! I can't wait to be there some day! Great job!
-
Congrats!
Set aside a bit coming in for a nice (but not extravagant!) celebration and a bit more for charity.

CONGRATULATIONS!!

Totally badass!

Same just this week!! Congratulations!
Trying not to get too excited since it makes absolutely no sense to me how the stock market is so high with all the shit going on but I will take the bean while I have it, haha. Next goal for me is $1M in just investments (since my $1M net worth includes a decent chunk of home equity).

A NW valued at $1 million is an accomplishment to be proud of.
Reaching financial goals is indeed satisfying.

My next goal is to retire in mid-2022 when my contract expires. Move back to the states, fix up my house and sell or rent, then move to my farm in Montana! I plan on sprinkling a few cross country road trips in my little RV between those things.

How do you happen to have a farm in Montana? Is it income producing?
Congrats on the first mil. The second one is easier.

I'm from Montana and bought an old farm with a my BFF back in 2015. She lives there with way too many goats, horses, and chickens. We have a rental on the property that intermittently pays half the mortgage when it's occupied as a monthly or AirBnB. It's more of a hobby farm/sustainability project that costs more than it makes, but it makes both of us happy.

Wow! That sounds great! It's nice to have someplace like that, even if its just to think about if you can't be there, especially during a pandemic...
