DW and I carried >60lbs of groceries ~.8mi utilizing a rattan staff, teamwork, and badassity.
I purchased the 50" staff for <$20 to support martial arts training, to be used as a backpacking/hiking implement, and (as though we'll ever need it) as home protection. We received several "that's the way to do it" comments, as well as a more pointed compliment from a jogger: "you are being so damn efficient!" We got our food, some laughs, exercise, and felt badass!
