If you like to watch sports but don't want to pay check out the espn app. We don't have cable only internet, though it is high $60 for 24mbps, and the app is run through our apple tv. We do not get everything automatically but someone in our extended family has a cable subscription that we log in with(within the espn app) to access everything. Any one else done this or had problems?

I haven't done this, but something similar.  My wife and I are on Verizon Wireless for our cell phones.  Verizon gives its users access to the NFL Mobile app free of charge (who are we kidding, its in the excessive fees somewhere).  With my Android phone and Chromecast we are able to watch all the Colts games just be streaming with no extra fees for cable subscription or the NFL Network.  It's not without it's flaws, but it works.

A long time ago I was watching sports on some weird P2P based Chinese app. Needless to say it is illegal, and at the time the quality was crap. I'd assume quality has increased over the years, but I can also guess it is still illegal :P
