Free food at El Pollo Loco

Thought I'd share this....  It works and I'm loving the Taco al Carbons... :)

I found an interesting hack...  They have this "Sign up Mailing List" thing and if you sign up, they give you a coupon for free food.  Its all linked to email address.  So all you need to do is to use different email addresses, and each time you get a free food coupon.  So far I'm at about 10 free "Taco al Carbon" meals by using a number of email addresses I have.  Since I run my own mail server, I can create as many of these as I want.  In case its using Cookies or IP address, you could route through a VPN, Tor or some other proxy to avoid duplication.

Coupons are good for 30 days.  Its Taco time!  (Don't forget to block their spam after you've received the "My Loco Rewards" email....  :) )

My experience with these things would say "It depends".  The staff at fast food restaurants are probably not going to give more than 15 seconds of thought to coupon redemption, however this is what it says for conditions:

"No purchase necessary.  Coupon has a one-time only use.  Cannot be combined with any other coupon or promotion.  Limit one discount per coupon, one coupon per customer. "

I guess that doesn't stop you visiting multiple restaurants, or driving through drive-through 10x or having 4 people in the car, each with a coupon, etc.  I wouldn't abuse it, and YMMV.  But try it and let us know your results.

Update...  So I took my coupon over to the El Pollo Loco restaurant near me.  Got the free Taco.  Its so small that you could stuff it into a matchbox.  And retail, its only $1.50 anyway so this is a bit of a ploy.

However...  While I was there, they gave me a coupon for free that says that if I want to download their app to my phone, they will give me $5 of free food.  Maybe that's the best way to go to get some free food here...  Who knows.  I'm up for it.  I mean I'll delete it immediately afterwards and hopefully it won't infect my phone with their malware or whatever.
