Free concert tickets

Having family that were in radio, I can tell you that ticket giveaways from local radio stations are super easy to win. Just check the websites for local radio stations and enter for free tickets. Radio stations often prefer giving out tickets to a wider array of people than their crowd who enter for everything available, so you should be able to get something pretty quick. The missus and I got free tickets in March to see "The Music of David Bowie" backed by our city orchestra. Not something I was willing to shell out $40 a ticket for, but certainly free was right in my budget. Obviously not the best tip mid-pandemic, but for us it was a a great way to offset the babysitting cost of our new little guy.

Don't you usually have to call in at a certain time or something to win tickets?

My dad has had pretty good success with radio giveaways over the years. One time he won a free weekend ski trip with a concert after...and broke his leg in the icy parking lot after the show. Oops.
