First pass decluttering to EBay sales success!
« on: September 09, 2018, 09:40:37 AM »
Small step but spent 15  mins grabbing unused items from one room in the house. Listed them on EBay, sold them for $150 less $45 in shipping charges (re-using lots of saved cardboard boxes, further decluttering.)

Not a windfall, but a great win!

Choosing only 1 room and only 15 mins to grab things and quickly list on the eBay phone app was key to me getting inertia. Thinking of doing the whole house or prettying up pictures was keeping me from doing the activity.

Looking forward to the next one!

Now keep going and see that $100 turn into $1,000 and even less clutter!

I have been putting off selling a new-looking leather Harley Davidson jacket that matches a bike I sold three years ago for like...well... three years now. I think it could be an easy $200... thanks for the motivation - I'll put the ad up tonight.

Thanks for the motivation - just made a quick $147 off of my jacket.  Can't wait for it to hit my account and send a bonus payment at the credit card!

Ok, you guys inspired me to finally post the footstool that's been hanging out in my living room for a few...months. I've been *meaning* to post it, but wanted to take nice picture, put some props on it, find the measuring tape to get accurate measurements, get the right light...for a $15 footstool. I just took fluorescent lighting pictures and posted it in 90 seconds.

I've earned $152.37 over the past three months posting random clutter on FB Marketplace.
I'd set myself a goal of selling at least one item per month and gotten behind this month, so thanks for the kick in the pants!
