What was something that was harder than you thought it'd be?
It was challenging to tell you the truth but after a few months things got easier. The hard part was to keep my same lifestyle even though my paychecks got bigger. I've always been "good" with money but after reading this blog I became more determined to be better.
Far as secrets, I just did what everyone else has done for the most part. I canceled cable, cut the gym membership, haggled for a lower Internet promo price, sold the motorcycle, and the list goes on. The hardest part was watching my nest egg shrink after I paid off the rest of my debt but looking at all that interest every month pissed me off.
