Countdown calendar
« on: May 29, 2016, 02:15:20 PM »
Just finished making my countdown calendar.   Hope to go part-time at my job on February 1, 2017 and then be totally retired from that job on February 1, 2018.

Got my fingers crossed that it works according to plans.   I have an actual physical calendar to put in front of me now to remind me that there's an end to the madness !!!

Anyone else?

I have a google doc spreadsheet thing. Over the last year when I've been bored or annoyed at work, I've added columns to it - percent done, percent remaining, days left, days worked this year, holidays, personal days I'm taking off, how many actual work days I have left. I guess I've been bored or annoyed a fair amount. :)  Sometimes I color code it in different ways.

Because it's a spread sheet, it doesn't look too unprofessional if someone catches a glance of it on my screen.

I'm tsgging another year on mine.  Moving out to 2019 from 2018.  It's all about health insurance.  My cancer surviving son just made 23 and I p,an to cover him till 26.  My job is much better now than the one i had setting the 2018 date.  Could put another 100k or more in the retirement kitty as well.
