Cleaned the apartment sans papertowels
« on: November 25, 2015, 08:55:14 AM »
My husband had a collection of ~25 undershirts, amassed to support his bachelor habit of only doing laundry every third week.  Eleven or 12 of the shirts were on their last legs.  I do laundry once a week, so there was no reason to keep them all.  With his permission, I cut up the worst ones, and used them yesterday to clean our ENTIRE apartment, including the windows.  Still have a couple left over!

Excellent! I have a small pile of dishcloths that get used for everything. The current batch was purchased July 2013 (when I moved to my current state) for probably $5 and they get used until they fall apart, so 5+ years. I only use paper towels to clean glass or clean up a cat incident (vomit or litterbox accidents).

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
