Today I changed jobs, and it feels great. I teach high school and work at one of the best schools in my state. It's close to a thirty minute round trip per day, and I often go back to the school to bring my son to watch sporting events. Next year I'll be at a school that is less than two minutes from my house. It's a good school, although not as highly ranked as the one where I am now (which is right next to a university). This will save time and gas but my son will also be able to take the bus to my school which will save us around 200 on after school care. I'm also considering commuting by bike at some point and selling second vehicle. Just wanted to share!
