The SUV alternative

For clarification the picture is the main point of the post.

With this set-up I can pick-up or drop off 2 kids plus get them to/from soccer, grocery store, etc.

Nice but would be easier on the eyes if the picture wasn't upside down.

Yup, you'd definitely be picking up the kids after you dropped them off upside down!

Oh let me play! I've got two. (and my wife one too!) I can hold up to four on each of them, if I'm feeling strong. :)

What's the price on a cargo bike? I'd like to make one. Any ideas?

Cost depends on how you go about it. An Xtracycle FreeRadical will set you back $200, plus whatever extras you purchase for it.  The Leap comes out in September.  It looks like a simpler design, it may be cheaper.  Check w/ xtracycle for details.  They have always been very good about answering my questions.
