birthday bike ride

Yesterday I turned 52 and celebrated by riding my bike to the bus, riding the bus to work, then riding my bike all the way home for a total of 52 miles.  I know tourists do that every day, but it was a lot for me and only the second time I rode that far in a day.  All backroads with lots of gravel where available, because my bike is a Salsa Fargo.

Sounds like a fun day out on the bike. Congrats on the achievement. I can still remember my first 50 mile day.
