Best review of department
« on: June 11, 2018, 04:54:33 AM »
Hi.

I just had my yearly review at work. Got good feedback and was told that I was ranged highest amongst my colleagues (35 peers).

I was thinking about asking for a higher than usual raise and did so. I was told that yes, this year I will get the highest increase in salary. Finally, for the first time on 3 and a half years...

Congratulations -- on being the best, asking for a bigger raise, and getting it.  Badass!  :)

Being #1 is truly badass.  Whatever they offer you as a raise, ask for more!

DH and I have decided that we both will be asking to work parttime, 80%. We will use his health as an excuse. We hope this will give us more options of travelling away during the long weekends.
