Two fun wins lately, pretty standard stuff, but when I see how much we'll save every year, it's exciting!

1) We cancelled our cable. Now we are down to a $19 (one time cost) digital antenna and Netflix/Amazon/Hulu. That's going to be a savings of about $100 a month.
2) I just cancelled my AT&T and signed up for Cricket. That's going to be a savings of $65 a month.

This totals to about $1,980 saved per year. Not bad!

Well done! Assuming you invest it at 7% returns, you're looking at over $28,000 in 10 years!

I'm a proud member of the Cable Cutters and AT&T to Cricket club. I'm happy with Cricket and Netflix and wouldn't go back to cable or at&t

9/1/2012  Found MMM | Income : $14/hr
Net Worth = ($64,000)

Today  Income : $70,000 /yr
Net Worth = $100,000

Larry, I was looking at your signature and I read it as starting at $28K/year with $64K NW and going to $70K/year with $100K NW. I thought there is something wrong; people making $28K/year generally don't have $64K in the bank. And now that he is making a good income he didn't save very much.

Then I noticed it was negative $64K not positive $64K. Nice job!!

Lol thank you. Maybe I should rewrite the signature with a minus sign rather than parenthesis notation for clarity.

Mr Money Mustache definitely changed my life, so I'm proud to display the progress here
