Title: 23 year old microwave oven - saved

My microwave went dead this morning.  Proceeded to open it up and not get fried.  Manufacture date 1994.  Changed out the fuse and it works (for now).
Just saved $100, the cost of a new one.

Jim, nice job!  My 1968 Amana is starting to give me a little trouble (stuck timer contacts I believe) but should be an easy fix. just have to find the time.

We've been in a rental for the last 2.5 years and it has a microwave included. I hate it. The digital display is horrible to use. I can't wait until next month when we move into our own place and we go back to using our 1998 model with dials. Hope it still works after all this time in the garage.
