$210 per hour
« on: March 03, 2017, 02:03:43 PM »
Thanks to Lufthansa overbooking, I made €600 today while travelling home to Canada from business in Europe.  It meant a four hour delay, going through Seattle TSA and Uncle Trump lineups, and a missing checked bag.

I knew when I checked in in Italy yesterday and saw overbooked flight, that I was prepared to take a payout for a switch instead of insisting I get home on plan.

Thanks MMM training!  That was $840C on my credit card today that'll go towards no longer needing business travel!

That $$ will pay for a companion ticket on your next business travel.

Unless I spend it on a limo to replace the connector Seattle to Vancouver that was cancelled.   Lol good thing for beer.

The rebooking delay drops me down to $70/ hour. That'll teach me for bragging.

Well...   Still stuck in Seattle in a $150 usd hotel and a $25 usd breakfast buffet.  Thank goodness for expense reports and airline refunds.

I could have hitchhiked home faster.

Finally arrived home Saturday afternoon, but still no luggage.  I do not recommend this travel hack if you aren't headed home!  I went to bed at 6 pm last night, exhausted.
