Sometimes I get so caught up in crunching the numbers and the day-to-day mundane tasks that I forget why I love this so much. I just finished meeting with a potential tenant's GF (he lives out of state, will meet him next week). She told me he's already scheduled for 50 hour weeks at her father's business, but that they looked around closer to work and everything was too expensive. The fact that I bought intelligently, can charge market rent and still be competitive (in this case a few hundred bucks cheaper than other parts of the city) and offer a hardworking kid a decent place to live... It makes me unbelievably happy :)
