Point- A new type of real estate investment

Real estate speculation soon to be opened up to the masses?

I like that they picked Palo Alto as an example of the appreciation achievable by homes. Think it will repeat that rate of growth? This stuff makes me more sure housing is near a top.

Load of garbage, and yes, probably a sign that housing has gone about as high as it can barring major wage/income increases. But I've been wrong about that before.

2 things amuse me in that article. 1  I'm going to invest and hope the housing market appreciates forever?.    And 2, the part where they couldn't calculate actual s&p 500 with dividend reinvestment cause it would be "challenging".

I honestly think I could find some safer places to park money, if not safer, possibly higher returns.   I doubt every city looks like Palo alto for growth .. lol

comparing palo alto price appreciation to S&P 500? cherry-picking bastards!
How about comparing Case-Shiller 20-city composite to S&P 500 for an apples-to-apples?
i won't touch anything that involves Vikram Pandit... ex-CEO of CITI. How many of those financial visionaries are investing significant money in Point?
