Title: making an offer before forming llc
Post by: ryanht13 on December 01, 2017, 04:29:02 PM
I have secured private lending that will allow me to offer all cash.
I need to make an offer on a property tomorrow but I don't have the entity formed. How do I word the contract and make the legal/paperwork as easy as possible?

My suggestion would be to make the offer in your name tomorrow and just correct/ update the forms before closing. These types of things happen all the time. And since none of this process is neither simple nor easy there is no perfect first way.
Just my two cents.

Your agent can add in a bit about making the contract assignable, then you can change the purchaser to your LLC without the seller being involved.
