Title: Xfinity mobile?
Post by: Cerastez on September 12, 2017, 12:53:05 PM
Has anyone used Xfinity mobile?   It is free if you already have Xfinity's internet, which in my are costs $30 a month with a 2 year contract.  You do have to pay an additional $12/month if you go over 100Mb of data usage.  It sounds like a good deal.

I definitely looked into it, since we use very little data and Xfinity is the only internet provider we have, but having to buy a new phone was a deal breaker for me (for now).  Our two-year old phones are just fine, but Xfinity doesn't let you bring them along.  When we need new phones, or if they start letting you bring your own phone to their service, I'll reevaluate.  With new phone payments, the break-even point is too far away to make it cost-effective at this point.
