Small business email services

Asking for a friend. Small non-profit business (four employees) that requires @businessname.com email addresses, and cloud storage that will hold personal health information. I'm looking at Google and Yahoo. Any others they should consider or that you recommend?

I would check out Purelymail. https://purelymail.com

I have been using it for about a year now and only had one outage of a couple of hours. When ever I have had a question it has been answered by the owner within an afternoon.

Google Workspace is free for non profits and that's likely your friends best bet as everyone in the world should be familiar with Gmail by now.

Microsoft has a similar offer that may or may not include free Office, based on complicated eligibility criteria.

Google will be free or $5 per person per month. Microsoft will be between $5-20 per month depending on if they want Office and/or OneDrive.

Thank you for the Google recommendation. We're looking at it. She's also sending me a copy of her cyber insurance policy to make sure it meets all the requirements.

I'd second Google for non-profits.  It is FREE.  If you have a web domain, you can basically set it up that your email addresses work on google.  e.g.  you could be Travis@MyFriendsNonProfit.org and use the Gmail interface.

All the standard google apps are available, and there is good shared drive management.

As much as I dislike them, Google is the way to go.  It is so cheap.  It probably comes with a cost in other ways, but who knows.
