Mrs. Homestead is often hearing about all the helpful people here and was wondering if anyone knows of any retreats to recommend.  She is a homeschooling introvert momma, so getting away at least once a year to recharge is a definite need.  Unfortunately, we are dealing with some family health issues on the horizon and so this will need to be in the first half of the year if it is going to happen.  In her words:

The WHAT:
I'm looking for a retreat (few days to a week) that would include one or a combination of: art (but a playful exploration kind of art, not serious training), writing, eco/earth focus, Native American wisdom/skills, Buddhism, down time/recharging, yoga (restoring and recharging, not serious training or teaching), &/or meditation.  Could be a group thing, could be a personal retreat kind of thing.  As for location, definitely in nature, not in a city.  Within a half-day's drive or so of NE Ohio would be great, but not necessarily a deal breaker.  Time frame is April - May.  And the option to have a single room is important, too.

The WHY:
I just want a chance to get away and do something that feeds me, and to just have some time to not be responsible for anything - time to recharge.
