Rothy's and $20 off
« on: August 09, 2019, 04:35:24 PM »
I just bought my first pair of Rothy's.  I hope it's a "forever" purchase.  I looked around for a referral code on MMM, but came up empty.  WTH, Mustachian Ladies???

I found a code online from a rando, but I'd much rather share with MMMers, so here's mine:  https://share.rothys.com/x/xeyfER

YOU get $20 off when you use it, and I get $20 off my next purchase as well.  Happy shoe shopping (and saving)!

Ha, I did the same thing! In case you haven't yet, I suggest posting your code on a few of the review sites. I have racked up 6 referrals in the last few months after buying my first pair--enough to almost cover a second pair.

I'm finding them really comfortable and well-made. I'm hopeful that they'll hold up well over time.

How is the arch support on these? I have very high arches, but at this point in pregnancy I’m having a hard time getting tennis shoes  on. Slip ons I can walk long distances in with good arch support seem like unicorns.

Rothy's have zero arch support. Sorry, @Bracken_Joy!

I think a lot of people put insoles in them for support.

Ooh, I feel your pain. When I was far along in pregnancy, I could only stand to wear my huge, ugly, comfy-as-hell running shoes. But getting them tied involved some serious gymnastics.  Rothy's would not be good for this. They might be nice for wider post-pregnancy feet, but they definitely won't solve your current problem.

Ah dang. Well, thank you guys! @tyrannostache gymnastics with big ugly gym shoes is 100% where I’m at right now! Just ordered a shoe horn, lets hope it helps.

Good luck, @Bracken_Joy! Third trimester is pretty much the only time in my life when I seriously considered Crocs.

Update:  if you love wearing socks around your house, you'll love wearing these around your workplace!  Seriously, it feels like I'm getting away with something.

I bought The Point in black, half a size up from normal.

Aw man!  I came here hoping you folks would talk me OUT of spending $150 on a pair of flats!  And here @Chrissy is handing out $20 coupons!

Gotta say . . . this is one of the nicest places to hang out on the internet.  Much obliged!
