For any fellow frequent flyer miles aficionados, if you haven't found Rocket Miles and stay in hotels for work travel, you can really rake in the free trips.
Basically, you book your lodging through them and can earn anywhere from 1000 to 5000 miles per night in addition to any miles you earn on a mileage credit card. It is more than you'd make off of booking through an airline or hotel rewards program or Points Hound, but the selection is more limited.
I never use them for travel out of our own pocket because they don't have a wide selection and focus on pricey hotel chains. However when I'm staying in cities for work on my employer's dime, these are exactly the kinds of places I have to stay in for conferences and stuff, so booking through Rocket Miles gains me thousands of miles quickly for lodging i get reimbursed for anyway.
