Petco Sale with AMEX cash back

FYI if you're on the hunt for decent pet deals...

Petco.com is having a sale - spend $100, get $30 off (same order). That amount also qualifies you for free shipping. If you have an AMEX (or at least a Blue Cash Back, not sure if they have the same deals for every card), you also get $15 back for spending $50. My mom and I split this and are very happy.

Not everything is eligible for free shipping, so make sure to check your cart. They wanted $15 to ship the 40lb bag of cat litter, and considering I don't live too far away from a Petco, I'll just buy in the store if I really do want to try it.

(Now, I admit, and will gladly accept face punches for, I did have to buy a $5 cat toy to get me over the $100. But my cats are far more spoiled than I am.)

Thanks for posting! I just placed my order and I'm hoping the $15 AMEX offer is stackable with the promotional $30 eGiftCard they are offering to first time users who sign up for their auto delivery service. If so, I will get $50 of pet food for $35 AND have a $30 gift card to use the next time I need pet supplies. Can't confirm 100% whether this is stackable, as they aren't emailing the gift cards until October 6. It's worth a try to me though, since I would have bought the pet food with just the $15 AMEX offer and I plan to cancel the subscription before the 2nd shipment.

christinek - Is/was the gift card coming from Petco or from AMEX? The $15 is from AMEX directly, so if the gift card is coming from Petco, it should stack (assuming they don't care how you pay)! The $15 credit was applied to my AMEX account in 24 hours or so.

$30 gift card is from Petco. I think it should stack as well... But there was no promo code to enter or confirmation of the offer for the gift card, so I'm a little hesitant that it worked.
