Market on the Move (Arizona)
« on: April 10, 2014, 08:45:51 PM »
Hi!  Hope this is the right section.  I volunteer sometimes for the Market on the Move.

The market sites are mostly in the Phoenix and Tucson area.  On Saturdays, anyone can come and purchase up to 60 lbs of produce for 10.00.  I think they also have occasional Sierra Vista market dates.  It's a really great program!  On Facebook, sometimes, they can announce what types of produce they will have on the weekend.

Here is the link for the nonprofit organization that runs it in Phoenix.

Please let me know if you have any questions!

I LOVE market on the move!! I usually donate to a homeless shelter and it's mostly unhealthy stuff
that's on their wishlist. But I usually drop off on Saturdays and pick up one or two sets of MotM
fruits and veggies and the way to the shelter!!
It's an awesome concept!! How neat to meet a volunteer with MotM on the boards here!!
Do you mind me asking which location you volunteer at?
