Can I have my three minutes (that it took to skim the article) back?

My initial thought is that linked article's font is a war crime.

The US has been said to be over-retailed for a while.

Economists have predicted 11 of the last 3 recessions.

And fringe bloggers have predicted 32,486,861 of the last one recessions. On a side note, I love my white noise machine.

Build your savings, put back some food. Keep out some cash. If there is a crash you're good. If there isn't you're good.

You might use this to influence your debt ridden social circle if you have one. Tell them to get right with their finances so they don't lose their house or car if there is another economic crisis.

Enough cash money to live for nine months or a year might be really helpful. Especially if they are actually living lean like walking and bicycling vs still putting gas in their thirsty family hauler. Stretch those dollars way out.

I felt the article was a little like listening to a conspiracy enthusiast. They are looking for confirmation in everything. Been there and done that earlier in my life when I was younger.
