Free Robo Advisors

(1/1)

gecko10x:
M1 Finance dropped their fees to zero yesterday!
Which I think is fantastic since I had decided to use them a few months ago (because of their unique portfolio model which allows you to build a custom one).

So, AFAIK, there are now two free robo advisors: M1 Finance and Wisebanyan. I've tried them both out, so if anyone has any questions I could probably answer.

(Three if you count Schwab Intelligent Advisor, but their minimums are much higher.)

What has your experience been with M1?  I had never heard of them but recently read a review.

Thanks for any info

Wealthfront is free up to $15K, plus $5K for each referral. If you're just starting out, I like their style quite a bit and use them personally (ref link in signature).

neo von retorch:
While most of these are things you won't do or need, you should be aware of the $100 termination fee, in case you decide to move your money and close your account.
