I just pulled the trigger and gave the boss my resignation a few weeks ago!
After a few weeks of decompressing and road tripping, I got back to work. I wanted to make a way for myself and my friends to say "thanks!" to MMM and the other FI bloggers that made this new life possible for me.
That's why I made and started using this browser extension called Biscuit. When I buy something at Amazon, they send the Mustache family a commission payment automatically using his affiliate link. This can be pretty big too: if you buy a new electric bike wheel, he could get enough to power his fancy coffee setup for a month, and it doesn't cost you anything (except clicking the button on the toolbar).
I don't personally get any money if you use it. I made it so that I could practice learning web development and programming (the next career that I want to have to finish getting to FI), to see a project like this through to completion, and as a way to say thank you to some of my favorite FI bloggers. I think it would be cool if other people used it too, and I don't feel ashamed of plugging it in my introduction here because I truly think that other FI-geared people would find it useful.
