Finish your Holiday Shopping with Cash Back
« on: December 17, 2015, 08:14:25 PM »
Unless you have been living under a rock, you have probably heard of ebates.  It's a cashback site inwhich you use their links to participating vendors before completing a purchase and you can get a predetermined amount cashback.  So far this year I have accumilated $157.00 cashback just by shopping with sites I would have shopped at anyways.  It's essentially free money.  As an added bonus, Ebates will give you a free $10.00 gift card after you make an account and make your first purchase, no matter how small, by going to their site first.  If you use my referral code, I will get a $5 credit as well:  http://www.ebates.com/rf.do?referrerid=YF6mujZls09aA683LlEkRg%3D%3D&eeid=28187

Be sure to use ebates in conjunction with www.retailmenot.com to maximize your savings.  Retailmenot is used just to find coupons.  Go there to find a coupon but do not complete the transaction through their link or you wont get your ebates cashback.

Also, ebates offers cashback for many categories of merchandise from Amazon.  If you use a Chase Freedom card as your payment method I believe you get an extra 10% cashback from the credit card.  This is also used for a huge savings.

I just saved $13.85 on new clothes that were already marked 50-75% off by using retailmenot in conjunction with ebates.

Use http://www.cashbackmonitor.com/ to compare shopping portals.

TopCashBack has good rates. For some sites they're the best, for others they're not.
But what's noteworthy is they have no minimum cashout threshold which I really like.

I used this and found a chair I wanted to buy for $30 cheaper than what I thought was the lowest price (because it was free shipping and not taxed).  Pretty sweet website you got there!

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
