Buy "kids" sizing for the discount.
« on: June 18, 2020, 01:26:18 AM »
I've been wanting some comfortable winter boots for a while but they're kind of expensive. I was buying some boots on boden for my kids and noticed they have my size 39. The desert boots are aud $32 but the adult equivalent on the same website cost 220. Basically 15% of the adult price. I've done this with other brands too, the larger sizes tend to go on sale, perhaps because people stop buying for their kids when they're late teens.

That's an impressive difference! I bought kids athletic shoes when I was in high school some because you could get the exact same style for maybe half price, and I have bought my teenage son some kids large shorts since the shorter style is in. otherwise, he is much too tall for kids clothes. They didn't give near the discount though

I've bought boys sandals for myself before, mostly because they were more functional than the women's sandals, but I noticed they cost a good bit less too.  I'll need to remember to do that again next time I need shoes.  Plus, I was in an actual shoe store, and the salesman was able to change my size to boys' off the top of his head.  I should probably look that up next time I need shoes.

Are they actually equivalent?
