AmEx offers
« on: May 02, 2016, 09:37:38 AM »
I figured it might be good to start a thread with heads-up for current AmEx offers?

This one just popped up on my Blue Everyday (but not Preferred): $25 off $100 purchase at Staples. I used it to buy a Target e-gift card. Haven't decided if I'm going to keep it and use it for ourselves, or resell at $87.

This offer just showed up on my Everyday Preferred.

But the fine print says, "Not valid for gift cards in bulk purchases."

So I'm guessing you cannot just load up a $100 gift card and then check out. If it works for someone let me know.

Worked for me, and got the confirmation email from AmEx. A single $100 gift card isn't a bulk purchase. I'll double check when the credit hits my account.

Amex Blue Preferred here.
10% off cell phone payments for the big 4 carriers (up to $300).
Works also for prepaid plans as long as you pay your carrier directly.
I loaded up my T Mobile account with $300 for my $30/month 5GB data prepaid plan to get the max $30 savings.

Just got a new one:
10% back on cable/satellite bill now thru December, $30 max rebate.

Also, Washington Post has $50 back on $50 spend, not including print subscriptions.

There is a good one for Advance Auto Parts that pops up occasionally.  Like $20 off $50?  Good for car maintenance stuff.
