Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card
« on: August 30, 2020, 01:37:38 PM »
My wife and I were running the numbers, and given the amount of money we spend at Amazon and the Whole Foods butcher, we think the Amazon Rewards Visa Signature Card is a good option for us. Does anyone else use it? What do you think?

I accidentally got signed up for Amazon Prime earlier this summer. After the free trial I decided to keep it and got an offer for the credit card. I took it and have been very happy with the decision. We are older and have been having groceries delivered from Whole Foods. It's awesome. I have been credit card churning for about a decade and pre pandemic would never have considered this one. Now it's the only card I use. Better value in travel rewards, but we aren't going anywhere anytime soon.

Great! Can you automate the cash-back function? Or is it like AMEX where you have to set reminders to make sure AMEX issues your cash back regularly? Did you unlock the additional cash back because you're a Prime member? Thanks!

DH and I have each had the Amazon card for years, and Prime membership off and on.  Chase automatically switches between 3 and 5% for Amazon purchases, but as for the cash back, I usually just check every month when the statement drops and transfer the money then.

Oddly, my card (but not his) was recently targeted for 4% back on everything else (still 5% on Amazon and Whole Foods) for 6 months.  You'd better believe everything's going on that card now...

If that is an affiliate link, you should be disclosing that you make money off of it.

I don't make money off the link, and I don't go around suspecting folks on this forum of such behavior. I suspect them of trying to help others while they help themselves.
