Wrote up my Last Will.....
« on: April 04, 2020, 07:25:02 PM »
...and how ironic that I can not risk having it witnessed by two non beneficiaries. For food deliveries I leave a pull cart out at the end of the drive with a cardboard sign that reads "leave packages here please". Feeling fortunate to have acerage and hurricane supplies on hand. Strange days indeed.

Why not combine both and leave your will at the door and ask the food delivery person to sign it as your witness?

I like it !!! Most of my investments do have beneficiary provisions but since I am unmarried; implementing a will was overdue anyways. Hard to do that if you are on a vent. I have had respiratory issues in the past. One thing I have always admired about financially savvy folks is their comprehension of risk across all facets of life. The other thing is having a source of information about all my investments that my heirs can access. There are tons of unclaimed accounts floating around.

My husband and I did this years ago because we were close to 60's.  Before all of this started, I consolidated all our accounts to Fidelity because they have an office in the city near us so if something happened to me, my husband could just go to the office and get advice and money.  I feel pretty good that stuff is taken care of.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
