The supermarket gets super busy, this weekend thing is over rated.

LOL!! One of my friends last night said they have to work tomorrow and I said what is this work think you speak of. They went on to say you know the thing you do to earn money and I said sorry I am not familiar with these terms/actions you speak of :)

Of course I may go back to work so then I'll need to re-learn :(

The struggle is real!

Downton Abbey had one of my favorite bits on this.

I thought it would be awesome going to the grocery store at 2 pm on a Tuesday. I would have the place to myself. Except it seems to be just as busy as it is on weekends.

It is super nice going for mountain bike rides in the middle of the week. On weekends the trails are full of hikers.

I have breakfast twice a week, Monday and Thursday with several retired fellows.
Last week, I somehow missed a day and lost track of Thursday, I thought it was Wednesday and I missed breakfast with the group. It wasn't until 6pm when I found it was Thursday.

It's something I like to keep track of because it's harder to get a parking spot at the trails and a seat in the trailside restaurants at weekends. And the organisation that gives me freelance jobs pays extra on weekends.

It’s occasionally important to keep track of weekends because some things aren’t available then.

The weekend is when I catch up on stuff at home.

No point in being out with all the wage slaves trying to get errands done on their time off.

*Sips from cup with "Every Day is Saturday" printed on it*

The worst part of school starting up is that the kids aren't available for fun stuff during the day forcing us do some stuff on the weekends *shudders*.

Having lost a day and then lost some more hours twice more in the last week, ( due to travelling), worrying about when the weekend is seems completely too hard. Which weekend and where?
